This area is located in South Meirionnydd within the Snowdonia National Park. Pennal is a very historic village and its main employer is agriculture. The river Dyfi is followed to the west and running through the village is the A493 which leads to Cwrt and three miles further to the corner of Fron Goch where the River Dyfi is seen running into Cardigan Bay. Pennal is a magnificent area where the sea meets the mountains and sits within the Dyfi Biosphere. The bridge is an integral part of the village where the river Sychan is seen running from the mountains to the Dyfi.
